PechaKucha Night Midcoast

PechaKucha Night Midcoast celebrates the creativity of our community through visual storytelling in a unique presentation style where 8 individuals share their work, ideas, and creative process with a 20-second-per-image, 20-image slideshow.

For Volume 35, these presenters will provide a six minute and 40 second glimpse into their craft:

Meg Fournier – Festival organizer

Rachel Zheng - Artist

Libby Schrum - Furniture maker

Paula Apro - Owner of Art Loft

Sally Loughridge - Painter

Hannah Kiermayr - Appalachian Trail

The evening's MC will be Scott Sell.

A reception at CMCA will immediately follow the program.

Pecha Kucha means "chit chat" in Japanese; PechaKucha Night was devised by Astrid Klein and Mark Dytham (Klein Dytham architecture), was conceived in 2003 in Tokyo as a place for young designers to meet, network and show their work in public.
