One of three remaining district nursing agencies in the state of Maine, RDNA nurses continue to regularly visit over 200 predominantly elderly area residents living independently in South Thomaston, Owls Head, Cushing, St. George, Warren, Union, Thomaston and Rockland. Without federal/state funds or insurance reimbursement, RDNA relies on gifts and contributions to cover the majority of operating costs, allowing fees to remain affordable and services accessible. Only through the generosity of this community has RDNA, for 88 years, continuously been able to focus on serving residents who otherwise may not have access to care.
